Lucas Wolenczak

A distant father parked Lucas Wolenczak aboard seaQuest as a teenage prodigy; he became the heart of the show instead, and, for a generation of young viewers, its point-of-view character. He built the vocorder that let Darwin speak, hacked anything that needed hacking, and found in Captain Bridger the father figure he actually needed. By seaQuest 2032 he had joined the crew as a commissioned officer.

Jonathan Brandis was the series' breakout star and appeared in every episode of the run.
