Lt. Cmdr. Katherine Hitchcock

Katie Hitchcock kept the giant boat running as seaQuest's chief engineer and helm officer, while navigating the small complication of serving alongside her ex-husband, Ben Krieg. Brilliant, ambitious, and usually the smartest engineer in any room, she left the boat after the first season.

Stacy Haiduk departed in the season two cast shakeup.
