Dr. Kristin Westphalen

Dr. Westphalen headed seaQuest's civilian science contingent and served as its chief medical officer, embodying the boat's original mission: research first, torpedoes only when absolutely necessary. Sharp-tongued and unintimidated by military brass, she also shared a slow-burn romance with Captain Bridger.

Stephanie Beacham left the series after the first season, one of the many casualties of the show's season two retooling.
